The deferred revenue has to be earned before it can be recorded.

The Sony money looks like it is DVD related. The Sony advances would be recorded when DVDs are sold (at the retail level, not distributor), with a hold back for returns). I don't now if any "Baby Genius" DVDs are still being sold.

It looks like some of the Sony advances weren't earned and had to be returned. It's why Sony "purchased" GNUS shares (equal to the amount of money GNUS had to return to Sony).

Likewise with the other advance money, they have to be earned.

I haven't check Toys R US for any more SpacePop merchandise. I think the DVD was released in Q1, so maybe some of the Sony money can be recorded in Q2.

No "Llama Llama" merchandise yet and the Netflix money won't come in until the shows are delivered. So no "Llama Llama" advances will be recorded for some time.
