Since you've made reference to your post on more than one occasion, I'll respond. It is 100% irrelevant to NWBO's situation. It offers no insight whatsoever to the DCVax-L trial.

The trial you reference went one year and then they had results. One year, not 15 years. And because they were going to do one additional year on new enrollments, the new enrollees were double-blinded. The original patients had to be unblinded in order to get the data analyzed.

If NWBO were still taking patients, the new patients would be double blinded as well. NWBO has no more patients to enroll. So this other trial has nothing in common with the NWBO trial.

Whether they unblind or do a data lock or just announce results...it doesn't matter what you call it. This is all that matters at this point: We need the topline results.

NWBO could have released the results months ago but chose not to. And as you post points out, rather frustratingly - companies that design their trials properly get results quickly.
