Dawning bright and clear after a "rough" night.

The kids next door had a big party in the playhouse out back. I looked out and saw the monster pick up trucks lined up, flanking it. They're good kids but the bass on the stereo vibrates my house. I left three irate messages on their mother's phone. At 10:00 I got dressed, grabbed a flashlight, and went over. No one answered the knock. I was standing there when the younger of the two boys came. I smiled. He immediately apologized and said they'd keep it down because it was late. I told him the only problem was the bass on the stereo and to please tell his mother to ignore the three irate messages on her phone.

Things settled down immediately. What a good kid.
I left a fourth message semi-apologizing for the first three and
told her she had a "sweet kid."

Old and crabby I am.
