"SoftBank Group Corp. 9984, +0.71% has built a $4 billion stake in chip maker Nvidia Corp. NVDA, +0.57% and is now the company's fourth-largest shareholder, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the situation. The Japanese company disclosed that it had a stake in Nvidia on Saturday, as it announced $93 billion of commitments to its technology investment fund, Vision Fund, but did not specify the size of the stake, Bloomberg wrote. Under U.S. rules, a stake of 5% would require a regulatory disclosure; a holding of just 4.9% would be worth about $4 billion. SoftBank declined to comment. Nvidia shares were up 2.9% in premarket trade, and have gained 28% in 2017, while the S&P 500 SPX, -0.02% has gained 7%."

We were fortunate to invest in NVDA in 2009 @ $18.10
