May 22,23--The computer at the apartment complex is working this morning. The past two days have seen rain. Tuesday's shower began around 10:30 and continued all day. Before the rains, I've completed sowing all the watermelon seeds. I'm down to a couple of spaces for Jenny Lind cantaloupes -- and no more manure. It went into the beds that quick.

The rain will speed up weed growth. Much time will be spent clearing them out and applying mulches.

Mohammed's Persian cucumbers have produced flowers. I've put up some wire fencing to encourage them to climb.

The cuke plants in the bed next to the ledge have grown to point I'm tying up the vines to encourage them to run up the fencing.

To think, the first day of summer is less than 30 days from today. I've seen much warmer and drier month of Mays.
