May 19-With 10 melon hills sown today I've done 15 hills in two days. And I'm not finished yet.
The Bradford watermelon seed I ordered cost me $10 for 14 seeds. I will probably cull them down to two plants per the two hills.
I've been promising myself I would do it. I took the bus to Compare Foods, a supermarket that caters to Hispanics, for a whole fish. I returned this afternoon with two whole tilapia, which cost me $4.24. I will try for a trip to the fish counter once a week so build up the fish emulsion I want to use later this season.
