The defendants IMO, will try anything to either win, or delay the federal Court proceedings! What do they have to lose, virtually nothing, yet gain a great deal in the Mediation which would, in the end, put a great deal of pressure on Gers to lower their demands? Why Gers would even enter into a mediation is beyond me, especially since it is they who have to bend, not the Infringers, who already knew they lost! They can only gain by a mediation effort! While some of the punitive damages might be on the table, the basics should not be tampered with, and that is a given IMO! And, I don't see the Infringers accepting any punitive damages whatsoever, as they will contend that they were in the right to do as they did?
