George, I agree with you about Wall Street sanity. It often takes a terrible world event to shake up investors/traders, mostly the traders, Then they will overshoot in the direction of caution, after that some reason returns to the markets. But as gains seem easier and faster, sanity goes out the window again. It is a cycle which us humans are doomed to repeat. When the market is booming I get calls from people who heard I manage portfolios, how can I double my money in a week? When we have a long and nasty Bear Market I also get calls, but those are mostly about how to protect their money. It is human nature.
