No one knows when or if old hipp shareholders will be made whole. The company that took control of hipp is building a conglomerate of companies. From what I've seen develop those leftover patents are just crumbs on the table compared to what they are working on. They are putting together a mini Berkshire Hathaway. Whether or not they choose to sell is well down the line. If you have other investments I would focus on those.
