To put it simply, it shows whether a stock will have a correction to either the upside (oversold condition) or downside (overbought condition). It is a very reliable indicator that most traders use, therefore it must be respected. What RSI does not tell you is what the resulting PPS will "correct" to. Some stocks can come out of overbought, with a relatively small hit to their PPS, especially if it has legitimate interest...I believe this is what is happening to LQMT right now. Coincidentally, the recent uptrend was a correction coming out of major oversold.
