In my opinion, casting has nothing to do with plating. Casting is cast metal as in cast iron. Plating is any number of techniques to apply a thin coating of metal over some other metal or other material, as in tin plated copper. I figure that the "casting" part of their name referenced the "casting" of communications or signals, as in broad"casting", or pod"casting", but in this case, voip"casting". I don't know that to be a fact, but it makes sense to me. I also don't believe that All America Casting International Inc had anything to do w/metal casting, no more than they had to do w/acting. Far as I know, they were a "marketing company" & a communication company, as in voip (at least so-called voip Co, except maybe a total "wanabee"). Back then, just as now, they made ridiculous, unsupported, wild claims of being top dogs in the voip services arena. Way back then, they made some deal in Vietnam & were claiming they would be taking in around $24 million per year w/the deal they made. Yeah, right... Just like all the many many other claims they've made since, except that was close to 15 yrs ago. It's just apparent Deja-vu all over again & again & again & again.....
