I am in a quandary now! Sanchez, Pederson, Britton and Haniger on the DL. We did away with our DL this year, but still only had 2 slots in previous years. Instead, we expanded the benches to 7 players.

Well, now with Haniger down, I need to add a position player to field a full lineup next week. Have those four on the DL, then had Moncada and Murphy on reserve(Murphy technically DL too). No way do I drop Moncada! Thinking about Murphy, but when he finally comes back, he should be a monster in Coors Field, plus drafted him for $3, so great keeper if he comes through as expected.

At this point, I am thinking of dropping Liriano, leaving me only one extra P, but at the same time, Liriano looks to be his same old hot and cold self, so can always find equal or better on the waiver down the road when my team starts getting healthy. Hurts me short term for having more 2 start SP's in any given week, but might be a good tradeoff long term. Hoping Sanchez is back week after next, so could drop D. Norris and P/U a 2 Start P then if he does make it back.

Also have Britton hopefully back next week. Want to sit on him for a week or two, then potentially try to swing a huge deal. I have Chapman, Jansen, Britton and Bush and can only play 3 RP's. a couple of teams do not even have closers. They are flipping dual eligible SP/RP's for the RP slot. Having potentially 4 of the top 10 closers in baseball should give me a monster haul to really upgrade the team. That being said, I do not get any bench relief when Britton comes off the DL, as no way am I dropping any of my closers.

The early season headaches of Fantasy Baseball!
