Let's not get carried away, although he had the right idea, but much like the hero played by Robert Preston in "The Music Man" or Dr Dulcinello in "The Elixir of Love", there was too much flim flam.

John may have overreached and thought when CTT hit paydirt with a product totally unrelated to Calmare that all was going well, but then the bottom dropped out and he desperately tried to save it with dubious efforts.

However, much as he deserves criticism, he seemed to have the interests of the company and shareholders at heart. Unfortunately, he may have had the interests of John Nano, one peg above those two items.

BTW What is it that he does at Berkshire Hathaway? Where I live they are mostly into residential real estate and that would make him a sales person conducting open houses, or the equivalent, for fancy upscale homes.

Did you notice a few things on the LinkedIn page:
When he lists previous employment, he tends not to identify the firms or corporations, both present and past, e.g., CTTC is not mentioned by name and what firm is he also a president at while also at B_H?
Check out some of the names of those who commend his skills and strengths and you will find some names from the CTTC past, e.g., Arris Despo, Will Jacques, hmmmmmmmm
