I doubt the Cubs would have won the World Series if they didn't trade their #1 prospect, Gleyber Torres and three others for Aroldis Chapman.

Whether it was worth it in the l o n g run is something that will be known in the fullness of time, but there can be no denying the joy the trade help bring to long suffering Cub fans everywhere.

Talk to any Cubs’ fan and ask them what they think. Put in the World Series DVD and chances are that adults turn to weeping children all over again as they watch that series.

I doubt they make that trade, however, if they didn't already have Addison Russell filling the SS position.
