Completely agree--sad but true that metro environmental money has economically killed the northern part of the state.

I got a big kick out of the Earth day "science" parades/protests in the metro over the weekend. "Stand up for Science" was the mantra. However, what about the science of mining? What about real engineering science? I guess the only "science" that matters to these people is climate change.
