Property values in South Miami in some ares are declining badly, hard to sell those homes when the roads and homes are a foot high in water. Maybe some Conservative can sell it as some new kind of swimming pool.

A lot of areas are a hard sell in South Miami, even worse as you go down into the Keys. I read a story on as the tide has continued to rise thanks to Climate Change and rising oceans that after a good storm they have a brand new problem. The garbage cans float away, and the garbage can just go everywhere.

Some never even planned on that problem, but today, thanks to the rise in the ocean, many places in the Keys have to deal with this issue quite often. Imagine coming out of that beautiful home and dealing with garbage from garbage cans floating all around.

Already they have to deal with just 4 inches of higher sea levels, does not sound like much, but when you have built all of those bridges for all of those boats to go under, well 4 inches is a lot, and then add a good rain storm, and it gets even higher. Oops, all of those boats can not leave the dock, nothing like owning water front property and not being able to use the boat because it cannot get under the bridge.

Not so easy to raise those bridges, but why worry about rising sea levels when you can just buy out the entire town. They have done that also, but it can get very expensive.

Been happening in Louisiana of late, also, but hell that is another state dealing with rising sea levels, and I have not even proof read this message for a misspelled word.
