Regarding Glickman’s statement on 4/20, that “greater value will be achieved by not licensing.”

This is what I heard between the lines:

The goal here is a BO. We’re not going to mess around with licensing, which would obviously diminish the value to BP. Licensing would be necessary if we weren’t interested in a near-term buyout, but that is not the case.
