We received this question and other questions regarding the hopTo IP sale process. The hopTo IP sale process is still ongoing. We cannot currently discuss any specifics as discussions are still underway with potential buyers.

As a result of ipCapital’s work under the engagement agreement, as amended, as of March 31, 2017, 173 new patent applications have been filed. Of these 173 applications, 52 patents have been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”). We have also received notice from the USPTO that one
additional patent application has been allowed and will ultimately issue as a US patent in the next 30-45 days. Due to financial constraints on our operations, we
have suspended patent prosecution  activity  other  than to pay issuance  fees for patents  already  approved by USPTO. As of March  31, 2017 there are  5 patent
applications that remain pending with the USPTO. We do not expect to file more applications in 2017.
