Rite Aid and Fred's hit on report of possible FTC lawsuit

Rite Aid (RAD -6%) and Fred's (FRED -5.2%) fall sharply after Capitol Forum reports that the FTC is considering a lawsuit over the merger of Rite Aid and Walgreen Boots Alliance (WBA +0.5%).

Some analysts have warned that Walgreens was playing a dangerous game with the FTC by pushing up the regulatory timeline.
