April 13-The computers were tied up so I went to bed. I phoned Jerry Thursday morning around 9 and was told to wait until Friday. Very frustrating. So went to work.

Hannah from Zia Pia dropped by after 1. Maybe she will buy some lettuce on Tuesday.

I managed to set another 6ft timber. The soil at this end of the row is looser and easier to dig up. It will still be a long drawn out project to bring it back it where it was.

I pulled some lettuce for Ali, one of each variety. The human palate is interesting. It's not the same for each of us. He liked the Forellenschluss for its somewhat bitter flavor.

Friday I will try Jerry again.
