April 11-I picked out 5 Cherokee Purple tomato plants and dug up 2 speckled trout lettuce plants to take to Jerry. It didn't take long for a bus to arrive. I was back on the farm about 30 minutes later. Then I watered, and again before I left for home.

In between I planted a Giant Syrian tomato plant in the bed where Ali could see it. An Eva Purple Ball will be its neighbor. I used more compost from the middle of the pile, along with eggshells and a handful of Garden-tone organic fertilizer.

Jerry will have a larger order for Thursday. I am hoping one of the ladies from the Zia Pia Italian food stand will show up Wednesday or Thursday.

At least the lettuce will start thinning out so the Pink Beauty radishes will get more sun.

Old Cadillacs never die. The finance company take 'em and faaaaade 'em away.
