This is good.

These patents appear much more straightforward than the Bloomberg suit. The Bloomberg suit took about 2.5 years for the Markman hearing. Mariner's Markman hearing is scheduled for May 25th, about 13 months.

If the settlement does go through there are still 4 Toshiba companies in the suit as well as two LG and two Panasonic companies. If the Markman case is strong it is not uncommon for quick settlements and other suits and settlements to happen in a quicker fashion.

Semcon's Markman hearing is scheduled for mid-June.
