WHO WE ARE...
AmpliTech's mission is to develop quality, state-of-the-art microwave amplifiers through a company built on experience, proven technical expertise, superior design heritage, and complete customer satisfaction.
AmpliTech designs, develops, and manufactures custom and standard state-of-the-art RF components for the Commercial, SATCOM, Space, and Military markets. These designs cover the frequency range from 50 kHz to 110 GHz. AmpliTech also provides consulting services to help with any microwave components or systems design problems. Our growth has come about because we can provide complex, custom solutions that none of our competitors would touch. Therefore, AmpliTech is committed to providing immediate responses to any custom requirements that we are presented with. In addition, we have a well-defined manufacturing process that stresses repeatability and quality for prototypes as well as production volumes . Low Noise Amplifiers have been our "bread and butter" and cryogenic and space-qualified components have been our specialty for a GOOD reason.

WHAT WE'RE UP TO...
2016 saw EDI CON hosted within the Unites States by Microwave Journal. Previously this event was only featured in China but thanks to the ever growing domestic market for RF technology, EDI CON is now featured in both the US and China. It should come as no surprise that AmpliTech was committed to having a presence at the event. The show was an unmitigated success as it provided not only opportunites to win more customers, but to increase our partnerships and establish new relationships, including a new distributorship agreement with East Coast Microwave ( www.ecmstockroom.com).
In other news AmpliTech has made the best of the excellent last two quarters of last year by expanding internal employment. This is reflected within the engineering department where a couple of brilliant minds were hired to increase product quality and diversity as well as to improve production efficiency. In a similar vein, AmpliTech has also begun to expand its administrative department in order to become more dynamic in its customer service and marketing approach.
TECHNICAL CORNER... A WORD FROM OUR ENGINEERS
Amplifiers made by AmpliTech are seeing diverse usage in the field. Anywhere from simply boosting a radio signal on a cellphone tower to being implemented in medical technology. However, the most potentially lucrative venture AmpliTech is involved with is within Electronic Warfare. Cyber-terrorism has become one America’s greatest threats within the last decade and with society trying to transition more into the conceptual “Internet of Things” model, cyber-security will soon become one of the fastest growing fields. With that in mind AmpliTech has cornered the market on the military side of the Electronic Warfare sector. A great example of this is the 2-18 GHz Wide Band ECM/IFMHigh Gain Limiting Amplifier (APT55-02001800-7016-66-LMS), pictured below, which is best utilized in EW protection. This model provides extremely high Gain (72 dB minimum) with very low harmonic distortion while processing multiple input signals. Because of this feature, the aforementioned model is crucial for identification systems used in aircraft during attack and surveillance missions.
2 to 18 GHz Wide Band EW / ECM / IFM High Gain Limiting Amplifier
Another example is AmpliTech’s 700-2700 MHz 100W High Powered Amplifier (AMTHPA-00700270-100W), one of the company’s newest ventures. This device is essential to the offensive side of EW as it generates a signal of high power over a certain band that “jams” an enemy’s RF signals. This prevents the enemy from using signal based detonators and cuts off communication. Incidentally this device can also be used as protection as it allows for the high power signal to travel farther unimpeded, a necessary advantage in the era of cyber warfare.
4 Watt Desktop Amplifier
AmpliTech is currently extremely focused on making a mark in the Power Amplifier market. To this end, we introduce the AMTPA-02001800-4W, a versatile ultra-wideband 4 watt medium power amplifier that operates from 2 to 18 GHz. Combining 35 dB Gain and a good 5.5 dB Noise Figure with a price well below any competing product, this desktop SSPA is ideal for applications in radar, electronic warfare and microwave test instrumentation.
