Whoa! I'm not attacking --- I'm saying what I see.

I know a guy who about 7 years ago sold his commercial building and closed his smog shop he had for 30 years, didnt even try to sell the business. He told me it was a dying business. The guy who then leased the shop with an option to buy the building tried for about 3 or 4 years to make a go of a smog business at that location. Try as he might, he could not make it happen.

For argument's sake, lets just say the gutting of the EPA is a not issue and that I am barking up the wrong tree.

Let's just look at the business.

Have you read the 2010 10k?

If you did you will see that this company had in 2009 40 stores that did approx $9.9 million in business -- or 40 stores with an average of $247,000 per year in business

Friday's 10k shows that in 2016 the company had 22 stores that did a approx 3.4 million in business -- of 22 stores with an average of approx $154,500 per year

How long have you been following this company? Did you just jump on the bandwagon? Do you ever actually look at the numbers in the filings to determine the direction of the company?

Those "older cars that are no longer on the road" were a major source of revenue for smog stations.

As noted in the last post STATE LAWMAKERS ARE WEIGHING UNNECESSARY CAR INSPECTIONS.

This is a slowly dying industry. Fiat dealerships in California are making it VERY EASY to lease a brand new electric car (which my wife and I are considering)

Check it out - a 500e for $69.00 per month.

You put down around $5500 but then you get a check back from the state for $5500 for leasing it --- then PG&E gives discount rate on electric through the evening hours (time to run the pool pump).
