Yes - a single large display might be better than multiple 24" monitors...
Except you need to sit too far away from the screen to view (like you need to move back from large screen TVs)
I hooked a computer up to our 40" Visio 'Smart' TV just to see if it could be done...it worked but the internet stuff looked kinda 'choppy' when displayed...did not spend much time fooling with or adjusting it.

When doing some research a few years ago, I ran across very large CURVED screen technology that seemed like it would be ideal for setting up a trade station layout...very expensive back then, maybe more reasonable now?
