It appears the real problem is signing up for Linkis and using Twitter accounts:

Linkis tweets automated spam from the accounts of anyone who unwittingly signs up for it.



I haven't noticed anything either, but I did a scan too, just in case.

I don't have a twitter account, or use mobile devices for anything but occasional phone calls.

I sounded the alarm to not take chances.
