I like your strategy rotor1. Lately I've been watching the 60 minute chart on the miner such as GDXJ and then when it starts riding the upper/lower BB I watch the 5 minute chart of the respective ETF, JDST/JNUG and wait for a break off the BB and then I use the 5 minute to try to pinpoint an entry. Also use the 4 and 9 moving averages too. Worked nice on JDST yesterday and I got a nice entry, just wish I held a few shares with at least a Break Even stop loss. Had a 12.70 entry, could have held longer. Especially now that Etrade cut the commissions in half.

The nice thing about charting is that it works on all time frames.
