Agreed...when you facilitate and perpetuate you move them from being "poor" to permanent dependency. If you believe that's the goal then you'd be in favor of the national minimum annual income that's been proposed. Everyone in the country, rich or poor, receives an annual stipend and viola, no more poverty. To pay for it you would terminate virtually all government run assistance programs which would be a huge savings in public sector employment cost (a real win) and we'd eradicate poverty. Simply amazing.....
