Using the literal definition of a R/S the shareholders will not lose anything since the share price should reflect the multiple that the number of shares were decreased

Using a 1:20....20000 shares at 10 cents is the same as 1000 shares at $2

BUT....history has shown the share prices drop right after the R/S happens so in theory you will lose zero...in reality you will sustain a loss.
