Golf Ethics Question
You are playing in your local club tournament tied for the lead after 17 holes. On the 18th hole you hit a 250 ft drive. Your opponent hooks his shot off into the woods. Being a gentleman you offer to help him look for his ball. He finally says go ahead and play your shot and I'll holler if I find my ball. Your 6 iron leaves your ball 4 ft. from the hole. Just then your opponent hollers, "I found it," and hits a shot that lands 6 inches from the hole.
Question: Do you take his ball that you found from your pocket and confront the lying bastard?
