March 16-It was cold, but the wind had subsided enough to motivate to finish watermelon hill #4. Friday begins a warming trend and I'll probably take the bus at least twice to transport all the started plants from my apartment to the greenhouse.
My stop at Starbucks for coffee grounds was enough to fill the last tomato box on the slope, #12.
I rearranged the trays of lettuce starts in the greenhouse to make room for the tomato, pepper and eggplant seedlings. I will need more potting soil.
I will also start the Green Syrian Lettuce I ordered from Baker Creek. As much as 50 newspaper cups.
For some reason the SanDisk SDHC card didn't transfer the image I took of some raised beds next to the patio. Maybe it's full. I thought I always delete the images I record after I upload them.
