I see bits of program trading here. They usually drive buy spreads in 10k to 50k blocks to not move the price too fast. On a macro (week to month) level the pps is moving as I expected, but day to day there seems to be shorts and computers battling it out.

On gold, that is bizarre but oversold is my closest notion of a rational thought. The miners are most likely getting hit by some profit taking while the metal runs but I am not close to it right now.
