Apples and oranges...AJL is not an MLP. As such, it is paying less than 5% quarterly without the 90% or better payout requirement imposed on ALDW.

As for that precipitous drop? I always assumed it was a byproduct of high frequency trading..

I never even think about it for I've long been of the opinion that manipulation is live and well in the market. Understanding that huge drop won't enrich me in any way for I've long known there are goblins out there ready to take advantage of the unsuspecting. No amount of fretting will preempt the recurrence.
