The Chinese and Indians will have this century as theirs due to their ability to see the future. While we as Americans stagnate in a society obsessed with pop-culture, consumerism and the distractions of bread and circuses with a public education system destined to promote failure with its lack of focus on math and science, the Indians and Chinese know that a vacuum will be filled by their people who are being educated to inculcate the technical skills necessary to understand and manipulate technology to increase productivity and efficiency. Which is why China is developing the African continent, bountiful with raw materials, almost singlehandedly.

Americans would do much for future prosperity if we bought the whole mine or a stake in K&K from Ivanhoe as a country. Fresh raw materials - copper - will be available in seemingly limitless quantities to power our future technological evolution is we had the foresight to think in the longterm.

Unfortunately, I do not see this ideal scenario as a proud American happening. I only see the Chinese and/or Indians (most likely Chinese) taking advantage.

Perhaps the only solace I will have will be my investment in Ivanhoe as the future beckons to those who work hard to achieve their dreams.

Get with the program USA and buy a stake in Ivanhoe!
