I have asked management the same question , that it would be more prudent to get long term leases at the bottom of the ship leasing price cycle and then go charter the ships at rising spot prices and make money vs risking debt again to buy ships until they are a solid company again and able to get bank financing to buy ships that will be cheap for quite a while due to the oversupply of ships right now.

Its not rocket science to make this a "Great Company Again" just like the Trump marquee motto
