I worked in healthcare for 45 years. In on the ground floor of CT scanning, MRI and CT angios. At the university we worked on prototype CT breast imaging systems.

The concept is sound. However, I think it is more likely that the people involved in this company used it as a private piggy bank and milked it dry.
