March 13-I called it quits at 2:30 when the rain started. It would only intensify, which it did all evening. The forecast for at least one-half inch may be accurate.
More pepper seedlings continue to emerge. I've moved the eggplant starts from the third floor to the apartment. It's much warmer than that windowsill.
More Rosa Bianca seeds arrived in the mail. I emptied the contents into a sodium nitrate solution and will seed them Wednesday morning.
The lettuce plants in the bed are holding up. Will they make it through Wednesday morning (20) and Thursday morning (24)?
March is no fun sometimes. In fact, most of the time.
