We have a 10 KW Generac Generator with a 500 Gallon buried Propane tank - We have no natural gas out here in farmland.

It only cost us around 3,300 dollars in total. We bought the generator from a warehouse in IL with free shipping, and our electrician charged us about 500.00 to hook up the transfer panel. The Propane company charges us 65.00 a year for the lease of the propane tank, and installed it for free. We put it on a level group of cement blocks.
