I had an opportunity to invest in Randy's deal along with some Fat Kats in 1999, one of whom was a client of mine. He wanted to let me on before the ship sailed. He said even I put up just 10K, I would surely be a billionaire by 2010. I was quite skeptical, but I admit i was intrigued. Fortunately, I asked a physicist for his opinion. He earned a doctorate in high-energy physics from Princeton. He predicted that if I invested I would find myself 10,000 poorer in 2010.

I kept the money in the mattrass. The physicist was right, but maybe he was just lucky. Or maybe he knew Randy Mills could not possibly right.
