The importance of being able to do math in your head.

This week's Acme flyer has Stouffer's Single Serve Entress for 50% (half) off. (Not tempted.) Underneath that, they list the prices.
reg. retails: $3.89-$5.99
sale retails: $2.33-$3.59

Am I missing something?
The sale price looks like more than half the regular price.
I may have to say something to the service desk people.

Talk about taking advantage of the "new" math.
