Mobile browser was last updated at Google Play Store on February 19th. It now has:

$0.99 - $5.99 per item

So they are receiving revenue from extras within the browser, but are still giving away the main app for free. Once they are reasonably sure it is bug-free, they should be releasing Gen4 and have a fully-paid version. Shouldn't take long now.
