I've learned that you cannot trust analysts and many have short positions in the stock they're covering. That being said, does Broadcom have any patents on wireless charging? They have never challenged Energous patents as far as I know, and Energous has never claimed infringement from Broadcom. This sounds like a bogus report, but who really knows? I recently bought into a long position on Energous due to the Dialog partnership and the rumors that AAPL (and Dialog) will be using Energous solutions in their chip technology.
