IMO by simply increasing shareholders value this highly improved pps will give them anually 5% dividend this is a very lucrative right. Why convert this into common shares? Besides without any doubt the ceo has the fast majority of these prefered shares. He isn't just any boardmember but the founder of the trucking company. He is here for the long run.
