Jimmy - what broker do you use? I have found with TD that I can put a trade in even if the ACH hasn't cleared if I do it really early in the morning. Not sure if it's a glitch but I've done that for several years and it works every time. You may not be able to amend your trade once it's in though but give it a shot.
