It sounds like SpinDX can use bodily fluids other than blood - saliva, urine, etc so in theory it could be used without being invasive.

The inability to detect how recently these drugs may have been consumed - Yes. That's definitely an issue. This would basically only work for zero tolerance policy instances.

I could also not find a specific patent for a marijuana breathalyzer, but I noticed in the annual report that LCTC has $102,802 in outstanding patent applications and I have to believe that some of these are connected to the marijuana breathalyzer.

"Would never stand up in court" - at this point, I would have to agree with that assumption.

However, as a small business owner, I would love to have a product that can drug test my employees in less than a minute. That market is bigger than the law enforcement market. I would not only be able to tell if my employee has multiple drugs in his/her system, I could possibly let them know they are pre-diabetic or are susceptible to a host of other diseases. That's got enormous potential.
