CORPUS CHRISTI TX , Jan. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ - Uranium Energy Corp. is pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced public offering of 17,330,836 units of the Company (each, a "Unit"), at a price of $1.50 per Unit, for gross proceeds of approximately $26 million (the "Offering"). Each Unit is comprised of one common share of the Company (each, a "Share") and one-half of one common share purchase warrant (each whole warrant, a "Warrant"). Each Warrant will entitle its holder to acquire one common share (each, a "Warrant Share") at an exercise price of $2.00 per Warrant Share, exercisable six months following the closing of the Offering and expiring on the third anniversary following the closing of the Offering.
