The status of the funds from the Chinese deal is still unclear due to the new Chinese government monetary policy.
As Pluristem is now entering advanced phase III studies and will have related costs we have decided to go through with this raise.
We have a strong commitment to our shareholders and believe that in order to bring real value to the share price we have an obligation to bring our products to the market as soon as possible and in order to do so we needed to raise money.
I hope this makes things clearer as to our strategy
