Good afternoon folks.....after the short piece on "REPENT", I got to thinking on where to go next, like I originally posted this would not be in any specific order just sort of off the cuff...I think mainly basic stuff for established Christians and maybe seeds planted for maybe a beginner in faith or a person seeking a better meaning to life......

If I may----Rick (Tenac) has posted much on turning to Christ Jesus, asking for His saving Grace-----I suppose this is a BIG part or 1st part of REPENTING....now my thoughts have gone to:

SALVATION-------The Greek word implies deliverance, safety, healing, preservation, soundness-----I like to think of Salvation as the Umbrella Policy which covers all phases of redemptive acts and processes----Under my umbrella policy of Salvation we find acts of justification, redemption, grace, propitiation, imputation, forgiveness, sanctification, glorification........

FYI: Salvation is in 3 tenses;;;;;1st--The Christian has been saved from the guilt and penalty of sin----meaning after coming to Jesus for forgiveness all your past is forgiven, done, over with, gone baby, gone----no need for me to continue to worry or beat myself up about my past, it ha been forgiven and put to rest.....2nd---The Christian is being saved from the habit and dominion......3rd---The Christian will be saved at the Lord's return

Remember---Salvation is a free gift, it is by grace through faith....it is free of any works which we may do....you can in no way work your way into Salvation or into heaven.....THE DIVINE ORDER IS:::: first Salvation,,,,Then Works

God Bless----have a great weekend coming up
