In light of this, maybe we should be thankful that the IDCC SoC didn't work out... IDCC was trying to follow QCOMs business model... use our chip but you have to license our patents... or you have to license our patents to get this chip.

We have known about this QCOM practice for years. They had virtually the only working chip for CDMA/CDMA2000/LTE in the world, and leveraged that into a 5% rate. I'm thinking this news of the FTC action contributed to the decline in our share price yesterday... but I think IDCC has clean hands in this respect.
