Both you and es1 are correct as far as buying or selling on the bid or ask...what it really comes down to is interpritation...for every sell there had to be a buy...how it gets recorded as to the way the MM' s want the trades to be seen ....i myself.only buy at the ask...in all my yrs doing this...any particular stock I hold...i buy the ask...i don't wait to try and put in a bid...i don't want to be a part of downward pressure...i dont...and have never shorted a stock...so I don't truly understand shorts...but I've done quite well with my stocks over the yrs...always buying the ask...any company I'm involved in...i research...research...read and read some more...when I'm comfortable with what I know...i buy..and buy the ask...i know..as all of us..ir a lot of us here have been here for many yrs...so with that being said...im comfortable with WMIH...and wait for our outcome with our WAMU escrow....best to all here...cheers!!
